Hello! My name is Naman Jain (he/him/his).
I am an economist working in the field of macroeconomics, International economy, finance, and labour. I am, also, Chartered Engineer and Member (MIE) with the Institution of Engineers (India), Delhi, India. It is the most prestigious and premier engineering body of India. I devote part of time to work on problems of STEM such as Reimann Hypothesis, Collatz Conjecture, and Navier-Stokes Existence and Smoothness. I am a regular blood donor. My blood group is B+. Last blood donation is 05-Jun-2024.
After my postgraduation at Queen’s University Belfast, United Kingdom, I decided to engage myself in understanding and constructing solutions to the world economic problems. I worked as Research Assistant to Dr. Sushil Kumar Sen and Prof. Basanta Kumar Pradhan at Institute of Economic Growth (IEG), Delhi, India. I, also, worked as a Research Assistant in the UNICEF Project on ANEMIA MUKT BHARAT at IEG, headed by Dr. William Joe.
Currently, I am a Lead-India and Global Technical Lead at NITI Aayog, Government of India. I am, also, Visiting Fellow working at Crawford School of Public Policy, College of Law, Governance and Policy, East Asia Bureau of Economic Research (EABER), The Australian National University (ANU), Australia. I am associated with Prof. Peter Drysdale (EABER, ANU), and Prof. Shiro Armstrong (EABER, ANU) building and developing scenarios for the enormous regional modelling (TERM).

Duties
I have sworn to fulfill my duties in accordance with the Constitution of India, Article 51A. Fundamental Duties;

What’s your favorite food? Pizza. Though, everything from Indian cuisine would be equally favorite.
What’s your favorite restaurant? There are lot of excellent restaurant that I like, but ‘The Other Place‘ at Belfast, UK, would be my favorite. Though I keep expanding the list.
What’s your favorite local cuisine? Bedami Puri.
What’s your favorite take out or delivery food? Italian is great and quick for take out or delivery. Red Sauce Pasta.
What’s your favorite dessert? Indian desserts are the best. Rasogulla, Gajar Halwa, Badam Halwa, Gulab-Jamun, Moong Dal Halwa, and many other. Ranking them should be considered a sin.
What’s your favorite meal to cook at home? Though, I cook great Indian and Italian cuisines. But, cooking Gajar Halwa and Badam Halwa would be my favorite.

What’s your favorite type of cheese? Havarti, Mozzarella, Jarlsberg, Gorgonzola, Roquefort, and Manchego.
